The Position

Based in Ipswich, the Workplace and Systems Officer provides day-to-day administrative and operational support to ensure a safe, functional, and compliant workplace. Supporting the Workplace and Systems Coordinator, this role helps maintain effective systems across facilities, fleet, ICT, and WHS.

In this role you will:

  • Monitor shared inboxes and triage ICT, facilities, and WHS requests
  • Maintain registers, schedules, and records accurately
  • Support WHS activities, including site inductions and emergency procedure checks
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks such as ICT access and asset allocation
  • Manage vehicle bookings and log servicing/maintenance needs
  • Provide administrative support for procurement, travel, and training bookings

This is a hands-on role focused on supporting staff and ensuring smooth operational delivery across sites. It is classified at SCHADS Level 3–4, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a part-time position with hours negotiable to suit the successful candidate, within reasonable operational requirements.

The Person

You are detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoy working in a supportive team environment. You will bring:

  • Experience in administration or operational support roles
  • An understanding of WHS responsibilities and safe work practices
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to queries effectively
  • Experience supporting WHS, ICT, fleet, or facilities administration will be highly regarded.
