**Public Sector People** are working with a government organisation in the south suburbs of Brisbane to recruit a Workplace health and safety administration officer for a Contract position Paying $50 per hour + super until the end of the year with the possibility of extension.

The successful applicant will work within a small but supportive team. There will be ongoing training and development within the role. Flexible working is available once trained. This role will work out of the Ipswich office and include paid travel to Toowoomba on occasions.

This role is to update documentation and guidelines for Biosafety framework within the department.

**Responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Assessment of current guidelines, including recommendations in line with safety guidelines.
- The finalisation of draft guidelines
- updating online training modules
- updating WHS forms and guides
- SharePoint site maintenance
- Creation and maintenance of Safety risk assessment templates
- Working with stakeholders to determine best practice guidelines
- Form development, training development.

**About you**:

- Must be proficient in SharePoint.
- Must have Advanced skills within Microsoft WORD, Excel, SHAREPOINT, TEAMS and Zoom.
- Tertiary qualifications with a science, Laboratory of WHS background is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Preferability have experience working within government.
- Have been working with Workplace health and safety area.
- Can start within 2 weeks
- You must have a Drivers License to apply.
