As a Protective Services Officer, you will provide quality healthcare protective services ranging in nature from prevention to response and recovery, through the backfill of planned and unplanned leave across all sites, including Nambour General Hospital, Gympie Hospital and Caloundra Health Service.
Key Responsibilities include:
Provide comprehensive security services and assistance to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors whilst also protecting the physical assets of the SCHHS.
Provide primary response to fire alarms and other emergencies, under direction of Chief Emergency Warden.
Guard, watch and patrol to ensure that the facility's security integrity is maintained, keeping an accurate record of daily activities/incidents in official notebooks, security logs, etc.
Actively contribute to the de-escalation of patient responses, behaviour and incidents utilising endorsed evidenced-based contemporary practices.
Salary rates: $ $36.01 p.h, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (OO3) (multiple part time positions available, 24 hrs p.f.)
