Front Office Manager, Mindil Beach Casino Resort

The opportunity
Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Front Office Manager to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the overall management of the front office function, ensuring accurate processing of all guest and external operator accounts, and maintaining a high level of communication with all resort departments. We're looking for a hands-on leader who is actively present at the front office, engaging with guests and supporting the team. What will you do?

• Oversee the delivery of consistent, high-quality guest service at the front office, including proactive monitoring of guest feedback and implementing improvements
• Create and communicate occupancy forecasts and room revenue projections, supporting operational strategies to enhance efficiency and service speed
• Assist in planning and managing team member rosters, labor cost forecasting, and daily adjustments to align with business needs and budget
• Ensure cash, stock, and asset security by conducting audits, implementing theft prevention strategies, and maintaining accurate financial records
• Collaborate on special projects, support sales and revenue initiatives, and implement best practices through coaching and mentoring the operational team

More About You

• Relevant 4 or 5 star resort or hotel front office experience
• Financial analysis, event planning, and coordination skills
• Knowledge of Opera Property Management System highly regarded
• Effective coaching, mentoring, and training skills
• Relevant qualifications in business, tourism, hospitality management, or equivalent desired
