The Role

As a Social Media Content Specialist, you will play a crucial role in promoting our Montessori Academy campuses and contributing to the growth of our organisation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to promote brand visibility and engagement across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Create engaging and compelling content including text, image, and video content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Manage day-to-day activities on social media platforms including content creation, scheduling, posting, and community management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and videographers to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives.
  • Analyse social media performance metrics and provide regular reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Write and edit high-quality content for various channels including website, blog, social media, email newsletters, and other marketing collateral.
  • Manage the content creation process from ideation to shoot coordination and final publication, ensuring all content is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contributors to gather input, approvals, and feedback on content.

About You

  • 1-2 years proven experience in a similar role
  • Fun and energetic with excellent communication skills
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
  • High level attention to detail
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems
  • Highly organised with excellent project management skills
  • Experience in survey design, data collection, and analysis
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Visual Design or Business
  • Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices is a plus
