About the role

This is a part-time Medical and Dental Receptionist role located in Chipping Norton, NSW 2170. In this position, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the medical and dental practice, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Scheduling appointments and managing the practice's calendar
  • Handling patient inquiries and booking procedures over the phone
  • Collecting and processing patient information and medical records
  • Assisting with billing, invoicing and other financial tasks
  • Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
  • Providing administrative support to the medical and dental team as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a medical or dental receptionist, or in a similar customer service role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to effectively manage a busy reception area
  • Proficiency in using medical practice management software and standard office equipment
  • A friendly, professional and compassionate approach to patient care
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
