Are you an experienced Practice Manager ready to take the reins in a collaborative, people-first accounting firm?

This established and growing firm is home to a team of 16, including two Partners and two accounting teams, each with their own manager. They're looking for an organised and proactive Practice Manager to drive operational excellence, support workflow, and keep the engine of the business running smoothly.

About the Role

As Practice Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager and leadership team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. You'll oversee client onboarding and compliance, manage team workflow, support billing and engagement processes, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the practice.

You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining high client service standards while creating structure, clarity, and consistency across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client onboarding, ASIC compliance, and document lodgements
  • Oversee administrative processes, timesheets, and workflow reporting
  • Coordinate internal meetings and team performance reporting
  • Support billing, quotes, and engagement management
  • Maintain database accuracy and uphold brand standards
  • Provide hands-on leadership across practice operations

About You:

  • Previous experience in a Practice Manager or senior administrative role within accounting or professional services
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
  • Confident managing systems and supporting multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks, and MYOB highly regarded
