
Frontline Operations Assistant Director

This vacancy is only open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants. We are seeking a range of dynamic leaders to join our Frontline Operations group.
As an Assistant Director in Frontline Operations, you'll undertake an essential leadership role and ensure delivery of all priorities within your work area. You'll lead a diverse workforce to achieve key corporate and business objectives.
You will influence the design and development of tailored strategies that deliver contemporary client experiences and outstanding results for business.
You will inspire a future-focused mindset and a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Your relationship and negotiation skills will ensure that strategic partnerships and effective planning for new initiatives are implemented.
Depending on your area of expertise you may:
- lead dynamic teams which could be in a rostered or scheduled client contact centre environment
- encourage staff engagement, guide capability growth and support positive change management while driving operational excellence
- provide technical guidance or advice to clients and staff to assist in resolving complex or sensitive issues
- deliver contract management activities including outsource contracts for labour, print and postal services
- lead, coordinate and monitor a variety of work/case management activities, provide advice and recommendations to solve complex workforce and workload issues
- work with a range of business partners to ensure business requirements are understood to facilitate the delivery of quality services to the community
- through active and strategic engagement, deliver tailored and contemporary outcome focused solutions that optimise debt recovery, on time lodgment, facilitate ongoing willing participation in the taxation and superannuation systems and influence client behaviour
- translate complex insights or technical requirements into actions to resolve a range of procedural or technical issues
- develop and maintain planning processes that support continuous improvement and guide informed decision-making.
These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Albury, Box Hill (VIC), Brisbane CBD, Burnie, Canberra, Dandenong, Geelong, Gosford, Hobart, Melbourne CBD, Moonee Ponds, Newcastle, Parramatta, Penrith, Perth, Sydney CBD, Townsville, Upper Mount Gravatt or Wollongong. A merit pool may be formed and used to fill future similar vacancies in these locations and other locations within the same metropolitan area.
