About The RoleWe are seeking a motivated and organised Clinic Administration Officer/Medical Screener to join our Newcastle team. Reporting to the Practice Manager, this role is ideal for some who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and enjoys working with people. You'll play a key part in supporting day-to-day clinic operations and ensuring a high standard of patient care
Key ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Front desk reception and general administration
- Booking and managing medical appointments
- Managing and processing patient results
- Assisting patients with health questionnaires
- Performing preliminary Health assessments
- Specimen collection (this includes the supervision of Drug and Alcohol Testing)
- Audiometry testing
- Spirometry testing
- Generating and processing invoicing
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality service
- Strong organisational and administration skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication
Previous experience in a medical or clinical environment is highly regarded (but not essential).
Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
