Brisbane Abrasive Blasting is a well-established coating application business with a reputation for producing quality work. We have regular clients from a variety of steel fabrication industries such as transport, mining, structural, oil and gas etc.

We are currently hiring experienced industrial painters & blasters. Please note you must be in Australia and ready to start.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Typical jobs include blasting and spray application of epoxies and polyurethanes to new steel, trailers, tanks, structural steel, machinery and mining-related equipment and oil and gas projects.

20M x 11M Garnet Blast Room.  All painting is completed purpose built ventilated spray booths.

Skills and experience

  • An ability to work safely as a productive, reliable member of our team
  • Ability to blast/paint to specification with high quality workmanship an within targeted times
  • Good communication skills
  • Forklift ticket a plus

Normal hours are 6.30 am to 3.00 pm Monday through Thursday and 6.30 am-12.30 pm Friday.  Some OT may be required.
