Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be confident in all aspects of painting and decorating—from surface preparation and cutting-in to rolling, spraying, and minor patching—and will take genuine pride in their work. Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential.


Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out interior and exterior painting on residential and commercial properties
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming as required
  • Apply paints, stains, and finishes using brush, roller, or spray
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas and care for tools and equipment
  • Read job specifications, follow colour schedules, and communicate with supervisors and clients
  • Assist in estimating materials and job timeframes when required
  • Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and quality standards

Skills and Experience
  • Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years' trade experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of paint systems, surface preparation, and coating application
  • Competent in brush, roller, and spray techniques
  • Able to work independently or as part of a small team
  • Reliable transport and basic tools required
  • White Card (Construction Induction) essential
  • A current driver's license is essential due to the need to travel between various project sites.
  • Candidates must have valid Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
