We're Hiring: Industrial Spray Painter / Supervisor

Location: Carole Park, QLD

Company: Sun Engineering

Sun Engineering is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Spray Painter / Supervisor to join our team at our Carole Park facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong painting and blasting experience who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for:

  • Supervising a small team (2-3) of painters and sandblasters
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations in the blast and paint area
  • Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and schedule requirements
  • Hands-on spray painting and sandblasting as required

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Industrial spray painting and sandblasting experience
  • Proficient in 3-coat painting systems (primer, intermediate & top coat)
  • Knowledge of blast profile checking
  • Experience monitoring environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, etc.)
  • Familiarity with QA processes – including visual inspections and documentation

Highly Regarded (but not essential):

  • Coating Inspection Ticket
  • NACE Certification
  • Forklift Licence
