The Opportunity
We have a 6 month fixed term contract opportunity for an Automation & Integration Developer to join our IT Platforms team in Brisbane. You will support the integration of cloud and on premise applications and automation of existing processes and reporting. In addition to providing hands-on support there is opportunity to help us refine and shape our development processes and best practice.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:
- Commercial experience with C#, Java or other language with knowledge on Microsoft technologies.NET Core, REST API's, Azure SQL
- Scripting skills in languages like Python, PowerShell, or VB.NET required to handle custom automation logic, data manipulation, and integration with other systems
- Knowledge of integration patterns, message transformation, orchestration, and error handling, familiarity with protocols and data formats e.g. REST, SOAP, JSON, XML
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services as well as API Security, Azure Functions, API Apps
- Knowledge of software engineering practices: object-oriented design and implementation, SOLID principles, Agile and Scrum
