Perth, Western Australia Power On Cabling Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Power On Cabling specializes in underground asset installation, excavation, cable laying, earthworks & electrical installation.

As a result of new projects and continuous growth, we are seeking to appoint 3 x Directional Drillers to join our team.  The right candidates must be proactive with a positive attitude, and not afraid of manual work.

Worksites are both Metropolitan and Regionally based, Monday to Friday, minimum 38 hours with the possibility of optional weekend work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the company's safety, quality assurance & environmental management system
  • Manage internal field and subcontractor resources
  • Coordinate delivery activities to achieve project time and budget objectives
  • Manage a number of activities within the program of works concurrently

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience with underground assets vital
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering plans, drawings and CAD diagrams
  • Previous experience in the Utilities construction industry
  • Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proven qualities of leadership, integrity, loyalty and performance management
  • Articulate, Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Able to build and develop relationships and build on team culture
  • Excellent, punctual and effective time management skills
  • Positive attitude toward workplace Health and Safety
  • Maintain site quality and take part in regular audits

Suitable applicants MUST have:

  • Directional Drilling certificates/training (min 2 years practical experience)
  • Construction White Card
  • Current C Class drivers' licence (preferred MR class or above)
  • Current First Aid & CPR
