Our client is a leading surface exploration company, specialising in diamond drilling services for the Australian resource sector. With expertise across exploration, core directional, metallurgical, and geotechnical drilling, they provide safe, efficient, and high-quality drilling solutions.

About the Role

We are seeking motivated Driller Offsiders to join the team. You will support the Driller in daily operations, ensuring drilling equipment and rigs are maintained to the highest standard while working in a remote exploration environment. This is a physically demanding but rewarding opportunity for candidates who are eager to progress their career in drilling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Driller with daily operations, including handling drill rods and core samples.
  • Maintain, clean, and inspect drilling equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Support drill site setup, pack-down, and mobilization of rigs and equipment.
  • Safely operate vehicles and transport equipment as required.
  • Follow strict safety protocols, including hazard identification and risk management.
  • Work efficiently in a small team environment, adapting to dynamic conditions.
  • Commit to continuous shift rosters of day and night shifts.

What We're Looking For

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident residing in Western Australia.
  • Minimum 6 months' experience as a Driller Offsider.
  • HR-B or HR Open Driver's Licence (Manual Only).
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • National Police Clearance (within 3 months).
  • Demonstrated experience in physically demanding roles.
  • Strong teamwork, adaptability, and ability to follow instructions.
  • Commitment to remote work and willingness to put in the hard yards to progress.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Roster & Pay

  • 4/2 roster – 12-hour shifts
  • 2/1 roster – 12-hour shifts
  • Pay rate up to $44.50 per hour + Super
