You will create original investing-focused video and audio content, repurpose content across platforms, and manage the content calendar. You will also develop strategies to engage our community of investors, driving content sharing, brand awareness, and growth.This role plays a key role in developing a new acquisition channel for Simply Wall St, driving new subscribers and engagement and retention of existing users.TEAM STRUCTUREYou will be part of the Marketing team and report directly to the Head of Marketing. You will collaborate closely with the leadership, product, and community team to align content with company goals.RESPONSIBILITIESContent Production – YouTube & PodcastWork in close partnership with the CEO (spokesperson) and Product Managers to develop scripts, storyboards, and compelling copy for video and audio content.Assist with filming and production logistics (setting up equipment, managing recording sessions, supporting on-site or remote shoots).Coordinate and manage guest appearances from industry professionals for YouTube and podcast content - including outreach, scheduling, briefing, and ensuring a smooth experience for guests.Film and edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos.Repurpose YouTube content into podcast episodes for our channel.Edit and format podcast audio for professional sound quality.Leverage AI tools to create supplementary content (voiceovers, animations, short clips).Content Strategy & SchedulingOwn the content calendar across YouTube, podcast, and all social channels.Plan content around key market events (earnings seasons, Federal Reserve announcements, IPOs, macroeconomic data releases), sector rotations, and seasonal investing themes, while aligning with the interests and questions of our investor community.Ensure consistent, high-quality content output across platforms.Write attention-grabbing titles, descriptions, thumbnails copy, and social captions optimised for engagement and SEO.Community Engagement & GrowthDevelop and execute strategies to engage our investor community.Encourage content sharing to drive organic reach and growth.Build conversations and run community-driven campaigns (polls, AMAs, user-generated content).Cross-Platform PromotionRepurpose and adapt long-form content into short, platform-native formats for Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook.Optimise YouTube content (titles, thumbnails, SEO) for reach.Track analytics to identify trends and refine strategies.CAPABILITIESKnowledgeStrong knowledge of investing concepts and stock market dynamics.Proven experience in video and audio production, including editing and AI-assisted workflows.Experience with YouTube growth strategies and SEO.Familiarity with social media platforms and their content best practices.Understanding of podcast distribution and promotion.SkillsContent production: video editing, podcast editing, AI content tools.Copywriting: ability to craft engaging scripts, headlines, captions, and marketing copy.Community building and social engagement.Strong communication and storytelling skills.Ability to manage and execute a content calendar.An analytical mindset to interpret content performance data.AttributesTech-savvy and curious about new tools.Creative thinker with strong initiative.Adaptable and able to work independently.Passionate about investing and financial education.Collaborative, with the ability to engage both internal teams and community members.PERKSFlexible Remote Working: Work where you are most productive;Simply Stop: Time is one of the most valuable commodities, so we stop working early on Fridays;Share Club: We provide a subscription to SWS, cash for you to invest & regular sessions to discuss stocks and investment ideas;Parental Leave Policy: With a supportive part-time return to work option;Learning & Development Fund: We invest in your growth;Team Events & Hackathons: An opportunity for everyone to come together and push what is possible.
