We are seeking an experienced and API-qualified Property Valuer to join our team in NSW. As a Property Valuer, you will play a crucial role in conducting valuations for
residential and commercial properties, businesses, and plant and equipment. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality valuations that meet our standards of excellence.
About the role
We are providing a contract opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Property Valuer to join the team. As a member of our team you will be given the responsibility to work autonomously and set your own work schedule.
Your job tasks will include but not be limited to:
● Undertake valuations across a range of property types with a focus on residential, commercial and industrial properties.
● Inspect property within (and sometimes outside) the metro area.
● Research and value property using standard templates (these will be provided for you).
● Research and analyse market data, property trends, and comparable sales to determine accurate valuation assessments.
● Prepare comprehensive valuation reports detailing findings, methodologies, and conclusions.
● Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure efficient and effective valuation processes.
● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry practices.
● Represent the company professionally and uphold our reputation for excellence in all interactions.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must:
● Have a minimum of 5-years-experience as a Certified Practising Valuer
● Be registered with the API
● Proven skills in Microsoft Office (exposure to Microsoft Word important)
● Be comfortable using G Suite (including Google Calendar)
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Property, Real Estate, or related field.
2. API (Australian Property Institute) registration is essential.
3. Proven experience as a Property Valuer, with a minimum of 10 years in the field.
4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Proficiency in valuation software and Microsoft Office suite.
7. Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for property inspections.
