About the role
Join the team at JET Property Consultants Pty Ltd as a full-time Property Manager based in Murwillumbah, NSW. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring the highest level of service for both tenants and landlords.
What you'll be doing
- Effectively manage a portfolio of residential properties, including coordinating inspections, tenant placements, lease renewals and terminations
- Experience managing a portfolio of properties is required
- Ensure timely rent collection and follow up on arrears, while maintaining positive relationships with tenants
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs, and oversee contractors to deliver high-quality work
- Provide regular updates and reports to landlords on the performance of their properties
- Assist with the marketing and leasing of vacant properties
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and industry best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of property management processes and procedures
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar property management role
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused approach
- Sound knowledge of residential tenancy legislation and property management best practices
- Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office suite
- A positive, resilient and solutions-oriented attitude
- NSW Real Estate license or Certificate of registration required
- NSW Real Estate Agent License is required
