United Lifts AUST is an Australian-owned company specialising in lift and elevator design, installation, and maintenance across VIC, NSW, and QLD. As we continue to grow our technology and operational systems, we are seeking a talented IT Software Engineer to support our digital transformation and engineering integration projects.
The Role
You will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and integrating software systems that connect our engineering, operations, and service platforms — including data management, automation tools, and reporting systems.
Your work will support multiple departments including engineering design, project delivery, and service operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy internal software tools and automation scripts.
- Integrate data systems across platforms (e.g., MYOB, Boomerang, Novus, Maximo, and internal lift monitoring systems).
- Create and maintain APIs, databases, and dashboards for business analytics.
- Work closely with the engineering and service teams to digitise processes.
- Ensure cybersecurity, data accuracy, and software compliance with business policies.
- Provide IT support for internal users when needed and liaise with third-party vendors.
About You
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years' experience in software development or IT systems integration.
- Strong knowledge of Python, C#, or JavaScript / React).
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages is required.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and API integrations.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on cloud platform experience required.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of CAD, mechanical/electrical systems, or IoT device integrations.
- Experience with ERP or business management platforms.
- Understanding of automation within construction or building services industries.
