About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Store Person / Production Operator to join our team. This dual role will involve the efficient operation of our stores function, as well as supporting production activities as required. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials, maintaining accurate stock control, and contributing to the achievement of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, issue, and dispatch materials in line with company procedures
  • Monitor and control inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods
  • Conduct stocktakes and maintain accurate records of all stock movements
  • Operate materials handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Deliver raw materials to production areas and assist with assembly and machinery operations when required
  • Prepare products for dispatch, ensuring appropriate packaging and on-time delivery
  • Report and escalate any quality or non-conformance issues
  • Maintain safe working conditions, comply with all safety, environmental, and quality standards, and ensure high housekeeping standards at all times

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar store person or warehouse role
  • Forklift licence is essential
  • Strong understanding of stores operations including receiving, ordering, storing, issuing, and dispatching goods
  • Experience in production or assembly work (desirable)
  • Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively
  • Basic literacy, numeracy, and computer skills
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to work effectively in a team environment
