Air Conditioning Installation Technician – North Brisbane / Caboolture

Southern Stars Air Conditioning & Electrical is looking for an Experienced Air Conditioning Installation Technician to join our North Brisbane (Caboolture) team.

We're a proudly family-owned and operated company, founded in 2009, and have grown to become a recognised leader across South East Queensland. Our success comes from our people — a hardworking, reliable, and motivated team that values honesty, accountability, and excellence in every job.

Now, we're looking for the right person to bring their skills, energy, and passion to Southern Stars.


What you'll bring
  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent) preferred, not essential
  • 3rd & 4th Year Apprentices also encouraged to apply
  • ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence
  • Restricted Electrical Licence (if qualified)
  • QLD Construction White Card
  • Manual Driver's Licence
  • Current CPR/LVR Certificate

  • Experienced in ducted installations (essential)
  • Additional breakdown and servicing experience (an advantage)
  • Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and mentor apprentices

Your responsibilities
  • Install split and ducted air conditioning systems
  • Diagnose, service, and repair air conditioning systems
  • Carry out warranty repairs on Fujitsu & Daikin systems
  • Contribute to team growth by mentoring and training apprentices
