Westgold Resources has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team in Perth on a permanent, full-time basis. This is your chance to be part of a company that values innovation, collaboration, and career growth.

What You'll Do

• Assist with End of Month Reporting for our operations (CGO, MGO, FGO).
• Support Capital Expenditure reviews and cost reporting for mining operations.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes for the Group.
• Liaise with external auditors for end-of-year financial accounts.
• Maintain accuracy of budgeting and reporting tools (Anaplan & QlikSense).
• Provide support to both site and group finance teams.

What We're Looking For

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CA qualified or studying towards).
• Experience in assistant accounting roles with exposure to month-end reporting, cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and advanced Excel capability.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Experience with Pronto or similar ERP systems and BI reporting tools is desirable.
