Electrician

We're looking for a qualified and safety-focused Electrician to join our Metropolitan Concrete Maintenance Team at Heidelberg Materials.

This full-time, permanent role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work across multiple sites in the Sydney Metro area. A company tool of trade work ute, uniforms and PPE are provided.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• Preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on batching plants, conveyors, motors, PLCs and control systems
• Fault finding and reducing unplanned downtime
• Supporting plant upgrades and continuous improvement projects
• Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, Australian electrical standards and internal safety protocols
• Collaborating with production teams to minimise disruption
• Maintaining accurate service records and supporting contractors on site

What You'll Need:

• NSW Electrical Trade Qualification
• Current Australian Driver's Licence & White Card
• High Risk Work Licence (e.g. EWP)
• Industrial maintenance experience (concrete, mining, manufacturing or heavy industry preferred)
• Strong fault-finding skills across LV motors, control wiring, sensors and automation
• PLC and batching control system knowledge (advantageous)
• Ability to interpret schematics and work independently or in a team
• Other tickets (highly regarded): First Aid, CPR, LV Rescue, Forklift, CN
