FULL TIME Experienced Tradesperson

Fitter or Boilermaker

LOCAL CAIRNS POSITION

We're on the lookout for an experienced and versatile tradesman to join our Local Projects Crew in Cairns, at Dawsons Engineering (Cairns) with 
permanency on offer for the right person

.

About the Role:

This is not your typical workshop or site job. Our work fronts are varied and can change daily; one day you could be working on a water treatment facility, the next tackling work at heights, and then fabricating or installing access platforms on another site.

What We're Looking For:

  • Trade qualified Fitter or Boilermaker
  • Versatile, adaptable, and willing to tackle a variety of work fronts
  • Currently hold or willing to obtain EWP, Dogging/Rigging, Forklift and/or MR licences.
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to work unsupervised

The Offer:

  • Average of 
    45–55 hours per week
    , Monday to Friday
  • Occasional weekend and after-hours work
  • Comparable earnings to 7/7 mine rosters, but home every night
  • Permanent role opportunity for the right person
  • Immediate start available
