Senior Delivery Principal
Slalom Senior Delivery Principals play a critical role in managing complex client engagements across diverse industries. This position requires a skilled individual capable of leading delivery execution, driving client success, and managing delivery teams in transformation, technology, and engineering programs.
What You'll Do
- Demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and entrepreneurship, driving projects and teams from discovery to closure.
- Manage and lead programs with multiple stakeholders, resolving complex issues and ensuring alignment with organisational strategies.
- Design delivery and execution plans, guiding engagements from inception to completion, with a focus on technical delivery management.
- Form and support cross-functional teams tailored to project requirements and ensure successful client engagements.
- Lead delivery efforts, navigate risks, adjust project plans, and ensure timely project completion.
- Actively engage in day-to-day program and project activities, focusing when needed on hands-on technical delivery across various technology environments such as Azure, AWS, or Salesforce.
- Manage risks, adjust plans proactively, and implement necessary changes to ensure success.
- Drive financial outcomes, including meeting revenue, margin, and profitability targets.
- Serve as a senior delivery expert, contributing to a delivery community capable of managing complex engagements and transformational programs.
- Support the sales lifecycle by developing tailored delivery approaches and customized delivery plans.
- Enhance your functional and technical expertise, mentor others, and contribute to Slalom's capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to improve Slalom delivery expertise and framework, specifically in technical delivery.
What You'll Bring
- Success in enterprise delivery, including program management from inception to solution rollout, with a strong emphasis on technical delivery management.
- Experience working within different technology environments, such as Azure, AWS, and Salesforce, and understanding their unique capabilities and integration points.
- Skill in shaping client expectations, delivering quality programs on time, and mentoring project managers.
- Experience managing transformational programs across diverse industries in consulting environments.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, operational and functional consultants, and quality assurance experts.
- Proficiency in anticipating risks, addressing obstacles, co-creating team vision and strategy, and providing meaningful feedback.
- Capability to lead and solution for pursuits, share opportunities with project or account leads, and manage project financial and operational health.
- Experience in leading and growing teams, managing employee performance, and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Experience in implementing modern delivery practices, leveraging and scaling agile delivery frameworks, and work methodologies to enhance team velocity and collaboration.
- Hands-on experience navigating various contractual terms (e.g., fixed-price, time-and-material contracts).
- Industry knowledge of enterprise delivery environments, including expertise in enterprise architectural principles, engineering, and infrastructure domains.
- Strong communication skills, coupled with problem-solving and risk-management capabilities.
- Proven technical delivery management experience, with the ability to oversee complex technical implementations and integrations.
