Pool Service Technician - Casual Role

We're part of Australia's largest and most trusted network for pool and spa care – with a fleet of mobile service vehicles and retail stores serving local communities with pride. We're on the lookout for motivated, hands-on Pool Service Technicians to join our team, with opportunities available at both junior and experienced levels.

About the role:

You'll be the friendly face of Poolwerx Albany Creek, delivering top-tier service to residential and commercial customers and clients, working independently across a range of sites within three specific territories - Albany Creek, Stafford and Samford. No two days are the same - and you'll be supported with full training and ongoing development. Your day might include:

  • Testing and balancing pool water using advanced equipment (photometers - not just guesswork).
  • Manually cleaning pools and spas of all shapes and sizes - from backyard havens to resort showpieces.
  • Performing scheduled maintenance on pool systems to keep them safe and sparkling.
  • Spotting and recommending future service and product needs - adding real value to your customers.
  • Installing equipment - pumps, filters, chlorinators - to manufacturer specs, and learning the basics of pipework and hydraulics.
  • Sales - identify and disclose future sales and service opportunities at each location.

  • Physically capable - the role involves some heavy lifting and manual work.

  • Sound technical understanding of general pool and spa cleaning and maintenance and pool chemistry.

Must-haves:

  • A current open driver's licence (manual preferred).
  • Commitment to safe work practices and WHS standards.
