Full-Time Position Description

Dietcare is in a busy, well established private practice clinic in sunny Mackay, North QLD. We are seeking applicants for a full-time role. New graduate dietitians are welcome to apply as a senior dietitian is available to mentor.

This private practice role requires work in a variety of settings including nursing homes, hospitals, disability, group programs, home visits, private clients, and corporate consulting.

The role will involve:

  • Individual consultations
  • Group education
  • Development of new client handouts
  • Social media activities
  • Administrative duties

This role covers a very broad variety of cases, age groups and health status.  Professional Development is provided every month on topics relevant to the case load.

Essential Qualifications

  • Accredited Practising Dietitian (provisional APD status acceptable)
  • Registration with Dietitians Australia

Requirements

  • Drivers license and reliable car
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance up to 10 million
  • Blue Card
  • Police Check
  • Yellow Card
