The Opportunity
We are seeking Electricians with experience working in an underground coal environment to join us on a permanent full-time basis as we embark on a significant transformation project. As an Electrician you will play a key role in maintaining electrical infrastructure, upholding quality, safety, and meeting production targets. This opportunity is based in Blackwater, QLD, and offers both FIFO and DIDO options, with a 7/7 roster and 12-hour shifts on a permanent basis.
If you have hardrock underground mining experience, the opportunity to join will be at our level 1 award; where you will be able to begin your journey of underground coal with learning and development opportunities available
If you are an experienced underground coal fitter, the opportunity will be available to join at the level 2 award. This role will recognise your expertise and will provide a generous renumeration accrodingly

Details of the role
- Performing maintenance on a range of electrical equipment
- Fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical equipment
- Performing planned maintenance including breakdown repairs as directed
- Reporting any faulty equipment, incidents and or hazards
- Ongoing training and development with real career progression
- Above average base pay rates
- Various rosters are available depending on location
Qualifications and Requirement
- Electrical Trade Qualifications
- QLD Electrical Licence
- 2 years' experience working in the mining industry
- Valid Driver's License
- Full Australian working rights
