ABM Contractors is a leading service provider to the Coal Industry with a comprehensive range of skilled personnel across all aspects of the Underground Mining Industry including - Fault Driveage, Development Driveage, Out-Bye services, Conveyor Installation and Maintenance.

We are currently seeking experienced personnel to fill opportunities in the roles of Operators, Miner Drivers, Fitters and Electricians for full time opportunities in the Moranbah region across several projects.

Subcontracting option available for Miner Drivers and Trade positions.

Our team wants people with excellent risk management and safety behaviours and a driven productivity focus.

Desirableskills and experience - Operators:- Continuous Miner Tickets

- Min years 2yrs+ experience

- QDS & Hand Held Bolters

- LHD Tickets, Miner Bolter, Multi Bolter and Shuttle Car Tickets

- Development or Outbye Experience

Desirableskills and experience - Experienced Fitters:- Underground Diesels Experience

- Development Maintenance Experience

- Joy Miner Experience

Mandatoryskills and experience - Electricians:- Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Qualification

- Current Electrical Licence and EEHA, LVR + CPR

Mandatory Requirements for ALL positions:

- Minimum 12 Months Underground Experience 

- Current Standard 11 - Underground & Surface

- Current Drug & Alcohol Screening (must be within 14 days before induction)
