As the Production Area Manager at One Harvest, located in Sydney, you will be an integral part of our Operations department within the Manufacturing & Industrial category. This is a Permanent - Full Time position that requires a dedicated and skilled individual to oversee various aspects of production. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the production team to ensure efficient operations and adherence to quality standards
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity and streamline processes within the production area
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to support continuous production without disruptions
  • Collaborate with other departments such as logistics, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure seamless coordination
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to create a secure working environment for all employees
  • Analyse performance data and implement improvements to achieve production targets and cost efficiency
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff to foster a high-performing team culture focused on delivering exceptional results

Main Tasks:

  • Supervise day-to-day operations within the production area, including scheduling, resource allocation, and problem-solving
  • Implement best practices for inventory management, equipment maintenance, and workflow optimisation
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address any issues that may impact production output or product quality
  • Participate in the development of budgets, forecasts, and performance goals for the production area
  • Utilise data analysis tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with team members at all levels to ensure alignment with organisational objectives

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
