Leader of Learning

St Paul's Catholic College, Manly is seeking to appoint an energetic and highly skilled Leader of Learning - Religious Education. This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2025.

Specific Criteria

• Be suitably qualified to teach Religious Education and be confident with the new curriculum.
• Have experience in leading and managing staff.
• Support and implement the goals and values of Catholic education and the strategic priorities of the College.
• Proven ability to apply sound pedagogical practices to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners
• Skilled in analysing and reflecting on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students.
• Highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices
• Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community
• Promote and understand the importance of assessment practice, data analysis and feedback to enhance learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.
• Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning
• HSC marking experience would be an advantage but not essential

Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.
