Who We Are & Why You'll Love Working with Us
At Forsite, a division of Acusensus, we're not just building technology; we're building a shield. Every day, roadside and infrastructure workers put themselves at risk to keep our communities moving. Our Forsite division is on a mission to transform their safety.
We have a clear, vital goal: Every worker connected, every worker protected.
This isn't just a job. This is a chance to be on the front line of a technology that saves lives.
The Opportunity: Build it with us
This is a brand-new, high-impact role created to support the official launch of our groundbreaking Forsite safety system. We're not looking for someone to just follow a playbook; we're looking for a pioneer who will help us write it.
You will be the face of Forsite for our clients, acting as the crucial link between our customers, our engineering team, and our platform operations. This is a hands-on role for a tech-savvy problem-solver who thrives in the field.
We need a curious mind. Someone who is comfortable on a live worksite, can troubleshoot hardware on the fly, listens to customer challenges, and constantly asks, "How can we make this better?" If you have a start-up mindset and want to build something from the ground up, this is the role for you.
What You'll Be Doing
This position is a dynamic blend of customer advocacy and technical field operations.
- Be the Customer Champion: You'll be the primary point of contact for our clients, leading pilot deployments, onboarding sessions, and training for field crews. You'll build lasting relationships and ensure every deployment delivers measurable safety outcomes.
- Be the On-Site Hardware Expert: You will travel to customer sites (primarily in Victoria, with potential future APAC travel) to deploy, test, and calibrate our wearable and base-station hardware.
- Be the First Line of Defence: You'll be the go-to person for diagnosing and resolving Tier 1 device, firmware, and connectivity issues right there in the field.
- Be the Bridge to Engineering: You'll capture critical field data and customer feedback, escalating technical matters and helping our engineers guide ongoing product improvements.
- Be the Process Builder: You will be instrumental in refining and enhancing our entire deployment and training methodology.
What You'll Bring to the Table
This role requires a unique blend of technical aptitude, customer-facing maturity, and a hands-on attitude.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- A diploma/degree in engineering, business, or a related field OR 2-4 years of equivalent experience in customer success, technical support, or field service.
- Strong hardware and mechanical aptitude. You must be comfortable with, and curious about, physical technology and have proven experience troubleshooting hardware, connectivity, and firmware.
- Exceptional communication skills. You can build rapport with everyone, from a field worker in high-vis to a project manager in the office.
- A mature, calm, and professional approach, especially when working on live operational sites.
- A proactive, "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude to learning and problem-solving.
- Strong organisational skills, with experience using CRM/ERP systems (e.g., HubSpot, NetSuite).
- A valid driver licence and willingness to travel.
Bonus Points (Highly Desirable):
- Experience in a fast-paced start-up environment, especially with a new product launch.
- Background in road construction, traffic management, or a similar high-risk industrial environment.
- A Construction White Card or equivalent site access accreditation.
Why You'll Love Working With Us
- Real-World Impact: See your work directly contribute to protecting workers and preventing incidents.
- Growth & Opportunity: We are a rapidly growing company. This role offers an incredible opportunity to make your mark and grow with us.
- A Passionate Team: You'll join a dedicated team that is fully aligned with our life-saving mission.
- Flexibility: This is a full-time, Melbourne-based role. Given the high degree of travel and site-based work, we support flexibility and the ability to work from home when you are not on the road or in the office.
The Forsite system combines hardware, software, and a cloud-based analytics system to provide a connected safety network that predicts damage, alerts workers and prevents harm before impact.
As part of your application, you will be asked to provide a short written response to two questions. Your answers will help us understand your technical capability, problem-solving approach, and how you approach working with customers in the field – all attributes that will influence the success and adoption of the innovative and market-leading Forsite Safety system.
Candidates must possess full working rights in Australia. Pre-employment checks (including driver license history and police check) will be conducted at our expense.
