As Finance Director, you'll play a pivotal leadership role within easykind's Finance team - responsible for shaping the company's financial strategy, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring strong financial governance.
You'll support a wide range of financial management and performance activities, including strategic planning, budgeting, operational finance, and compliance. Working closely with the CFO and senior leadership, you'll translate financial insights into actionable strategies that enable easykind's mission: to make high-quality, plant-based healthcare accessible to all Australians.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role within a dynamic and fast-growing organisation. You'll combine strategic vision with operational excellence, helping to scale a purpose-driven healthcare business that's redefining patient care in Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Lead financial strategy and planning for the Australian business, ensuring alignment with easykind's long-term goals and growth ambitions.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, delivering accurate, timely, and meaningful insights to guide strategic decision-making.
- Manage financial risk and governance, implementing robust controls and effective mitigation strategies.
- Partner with the CFO and the Australian leadership team to influence strategic business decisions and shape commercial priorities.
- Drive financial performance through disciplined cost management, capital allocation, and operational efficiency.
- Provide commercial and analytical support for new business opportunities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Champion system and process improvements to enhance accuracy, scalability, and transparency across the finance function.
- The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic insight, financial discipline, and a passion for driving meaningful impact in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA/CPA (or equivalent) accreditation preferred.
- 6+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or another high-growth, regulated industry.
- Proven experience developing and executing financial strategy in alignment with organisational goals.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and capital management.
- Deep understanding of Australian financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with modern financial systems, ERP platforms, and data reporting tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear strategic insights.
- A collaborative leadership style with a proven ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.

We're offering a competitive salary between $140,000 and $180,000, depending on experience and impact.
