Southside Truck Centre and Global Lubricant Distributors is a family-owned dealership in the Heavy Vehicle Industry, specialising in the top brands in the Australian truck sales market, such as Volvo, Mack, UD, Hino, Western Star, MAN & Dennis Eagle Trucks. The company has been servicing the North Coast of New South Wales since 1966. We are an authorised dealer for Castrol, BP, Petronas, total and Mobil Lubricant's. We currently have branches in Lismore, Coffs Harbour, Tamworth and Port Macquarie. We are committed to providing our customers with excellent quality products, and service excellence.

The Position

Southside Truck Centre and Global Lubricants Distributors is currently seeking applications for a Customer Service Representative to join our Tamworth team. We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, customer-focused team player to join our Tamworth Team.

This is a full time Monday-to-Friday role with the position offers outstanding career growth and job security with a strong and growing independent family-owned business. As a successful candidate, you will join an established and highly respected dealer. You will have to be passionate about our brands and delivering a class-leading customer service experience.

You will be at the forefront of the automotive industry, promoting parts, oils and accessories for our brands. With the right attitude towards success and a willingness to form part of the Southside Truck Centre and Global Lubricant Distributors Team, you will surely achieve great things in this role.

Duties

  • Interact with customers and internal staff to assess their requirements.
  • Assist customers in selecting and ordering the correct products for their Vehicles.
  • Provide accurate pricing and availability information for our products.
  • Manage and organise inventory levels.
  • Receipting invoices
  • Process orders efficiently and accurately, prioritizing urgent requests.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Selection Criteria

  • Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative.
  • Automotive/Mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Confident computer skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to upsell products.
