About The Opportunity
Due to a rapidly growing market, CV Infrastructure Services is looking to grow our estimating team based in our head office at Hendra. You will specialise in high voltage substations/networks of different technologies and scopes of works. This involves all aspects of pricing delivery & pricing strategy, preparation, cost estimating, and liaising with various business units to develop and deliver competitive estimates and offers.

You will

• Own the estimating process from reviewing tender docs through to final submission.
• Work closely with operations and delivery teams to develop smart pricing strategies.
• Use your practical knowledge (and our data, tools, and SMEs) to build realistic and competitive costs.
• Lead conversations about risk, opportunities, and value-adds during bid planning.
• Leverage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to stay ahead of pricing trends.
• Prepare clear, detailed breakdowns of materials, labour, and subcontractor costs.
• Ensure accurate handover to delivery teams—no surprises.

About You

• A trade or tertiary background in electrical, ideally with HV or commercial project exposure.
• Experience estimating in civil infrastructure (roads, rail, utilities, or heavy industrial).
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools
• An ability to work with a range of different stakeholders, ensuring strong collaboration and communication throughout the delivery of the projects
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Be a confident communicator with clients and stakeholders with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities and your time effectively
