About the business
Poolwerx, Australia's largest franchised Pool and Spa care network of retail stores and mobile vans. We are looking for an experienced Pool & Spa technician to join the Poolwerx Avalon Beach team.

For the right applicants, opportunities exist to undertake the Certificate III & IV in Swimming Pool & Spa Service as part of your employment with Poolwerx.
Hours are flexible to be negotiated to suit the business and your needs.
Key functions of our Technician roles include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning of swimming pools and spas in both residential environments
- Water testing and adding of chemicals
- Maintain accurate and current technical information and skills
- Perform basic marketing activities while in field
- Organise and list stock as required in van
- Maintain a clean and safe mobile environment, including van presentation (cleaning & maintenance) and adhering to WH&S policies and procedures

Skills and experience
For this role we are looking for someone to work part/full time with previous industry experience, ideally in a residential setting. Key requirements for our next team member include:
- Previous pool technician experience
- Have a current open driver's license
- Amazing customer service skills
- Enjoy working outdoors in a physical role
- Excellent organisation skills, including time management
- Self-motivated and able to think on your feet/problem solve
- Can work unsupervised and manage competing priorities
