About Us
Myers Asbestos Removal – Brisbane West is a well-established and growing company specializing in Class B (non-friable) asbestos removal and soft demolition services. We pride ourselves on maintaining a supportive and safe work environment for our team.
What We Offer:
- Above award casual rates, plus overtime and superannuation
- Immediate start available
- 3 – 5 days' work per week
- Based in Southeast Queensland, servicing Brisbane, Logan, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Lockyer Valley, and Darling Downs
- All PPE and uniforms provided
- Opportunity to transition to permanent part-time employment after 12 months for the right candidate
Qualifications & Experience:
- Construction White Card (mandatory)
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (mandatory)
- Heavy vehicle licence (highly regarded)
- Class B (non-friable) asbestos removal ticket CPCCDE3014 preferred but not essential — training provided
Key Responsibilities:
- Non-friable asbestos removal (Class B)
- Soft demolition and strip-out work
- Conducting site inspections for testing and quotations
- Hazardous material remediation tasks
- Comfortable working at heights is a must
