Description

Right at Home provides exceptional in-home care and support to clients across the Kalgoorlie and Wheatbelt regions & Perth South Eastern Suburbs of Western Australia. We are seeking passionate, client-focused Personal Care Workers to join our dedicated team.

About the Role:

We are seeking passionate Personal Care Workers to join our supportive team. In this role, you'll provide holistic, client-focused care that supports independence, dignity, and wellbeing in the comfort of our clients' homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personal care and daily living assistance, following each client's Care Plan.
  • Support with personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and toileting.
  • Work alongside Registered Nurses to provide high-quality, tailored care.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and the care team.
  • Assist with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Record accurate daily client notes and report concerns promptly.
  • Support safe use of mobility aids, exercise routines, and non-sterile dressings under RN guidance.

Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent).
  • Current Senior First Aid (HLTAID011), CPR (HLTAID009) and Manual Handling (HLTWHS005) (with at least 3+ months until expiry).
  • Roadworthy, insured vehicle and a current Australian driver licence.
  • Recent Federal Police Clearance (within the last 6 months).

  • Strong communication skills, with empathy and patience.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Knowledge of privacy, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
  • Understanding of person-centred care principles.
  • Awareness of safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.
  • Problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
  • Multilingual skills highly regarded.
