**A team of female support workers** preferred will support a young boy with personal care and daily living activities in the home as well as social outings in the local community. Our member enjoys water, swimming, going out to the park, kicking his soccer ball, visiting the zoo, beach, bounce, having laugh with someone to read to him and spending time with his family. Our member also has limited verbal skills with English as a second language. Our member would love someone with Farsi language skills. Preferred but not essential.

We’re looking for people who will connect and engage well with our member and other people who are important to him so **great interpersonal skills** are a must.

The successful applicants will receive extensive training and mentoring in our Member’s support needs so that they are comfortable and confident providing support independently.

Before starting in the role, we do need you to:

- Have, or be willing to apply, for an NDIS Worker Screening Check, and other ‘Checks’.
- Have a valid Australian Drivers Licence and your own reliable vehicle.
- undertake, or be willing to undertake, an NDIS Module.
- WWCC

- Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support
- Experience in Support Work, Youth or Allied Health
- Farsi language skills
- Autism experience
