We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Development Manager to join our Group Insurance team as we continue to grow.

In this role, you'll represent AIA by using your strong business acumen and exceptional relationship management skills to oversee one of our major partnerships. You'll play a critical role in driving growth, strengthening client relationships, and delivering value for both AIA and our partners.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Melbourne or Sydney.

To do this successfully you will:
  • Drive revenue and profit growth, increase premium flow, and enhance overall profitability for the group insurance business.
  • Manage and maintain key client relationships, contributing to the design, negotiation, and implementation of strategic improvements to the Fund's insurance arrangements.
  • Support strategy development and execution, ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders to achieve retention and profitability targets.
  • Proactively address issues related to product, pricing, or service, escalating to the Client Lead when necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for process, product, and service enhancements and play a key role in implementing improvements within the client portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong day-to-day relationships with clients to ensure ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
Successful applications will demonstrate:
  • Proven experience in Client Development or a similar role, ideally within group life insurance.
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements, and industry legislation.
  • Experience in superannuation or group life insurance will be highly regarded.
  • Strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
