In this role, you'll oversee a high-performing national team that drives philanthropic and corporate engagement to fuel social impact.

The Role – Senior Manager, Strategic Relationships

As the Senior Manager, Strategic Relationships, you'll lead a team of Relationship Managers raising $37M annually across corporate and philanthropic supporters. You'll drive new business acquisition, steward long-term relationships, and deliver national revenue growth through strategic fundraising leadership.

You'll also manage a small portfolio of high-value relationships and contribute to the broader strategy as a member of the Transformational Gifts Leadership Team.

What Awaits You:

  • Lead a national team of five direct reports, fostering a collaborative, values-driven culture.
  • Drive a significant revenue portfolio across major gifts, corporate partnerships and philanthropic trusts.
  • Implement strategic fundraising and relationship management processes that drive growth and retention.
  • Be accountable for a multi-million-dollar expenditure budget, ensuring performance within target.
  • Personally manage a small portfolio of high-value relationships with major donors and corporate partners.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to align funding opportunities with organisational priorities.
  • Identify risks, forecast trends, and provide leadership insights to inform strategy and decision-making.

Your Skills and Attributes:

  • Demonstrated success leading fundraising, sales or relationship management teams, ideally nationally distributed.
  • Significant experience in managing high-value major donor, corporate and philanthropic portfolios.
  • Proven ability to create and implement long-term fundraising or business development strategies.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Deep understanding of sales/fundraising best practice, including pipeline management and stewardship approaches.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and project management capabilities.
  • Alignment with TSA's mission and values, with a respectful and inclusive approach to spiritual identity and diversity.
