We're looking for an ambitious Senior Strategic Growth Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you'll identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivate strategic partnerships, and play a key role in driving revenue growth.

About the role:

As a key part of the sales team, you will play a pivotal role in growing Convert Digital's client portfolio across both prospective project and retainer clients. You'll manage inbound sales opportunities, but more importantly drive outbound lead generation through building strong relationships with potential clients through marketing led campaigns, events and direct targeting. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience from start to finish.

This is a full-time role based in Melbourne with hybrid remote working arrangements, with some interstate travel required. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the business growth strategy, attend industry events, and collaborate with the Marketing team to enhance Convert Digital's outreach.

Your day may include:

  • Planning and executing strategic campaign led outreach, consulting with prospective clients on solution led proposals
  • Identifying and pursuing aligned prospects to build a pipeline of solid opportunities for Convert to deliver market leading expertise
  • Qualifying and nurturing leads to progress them through the sales funnel.
  • Actively engage with potential clients, responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Developing sales collateral, including case studies, proposals, and pitch decks.
  • Stay informed on Convert's product offerings and developments to effectively communicate value.
  • Representing Convert Digital at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Prepare sales contracts and coordinate internal department handovers to the solutions team as required.
  • Transition new clients to Client Success, Project Management, and Design to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
  • Maintaining accurate records in The CRM and providing key sales insights.
  • Monitor and report on sales insights to inform strategy and decision-making.

Our ideal new addition will have:

  • Proven experience in new business, digital agency sales, or account management, with a strong track record of building long-term relationships.
  • A deep understanding of retail, ecommerce, and online trends.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • A target-driven mindset, comfortable working towards revenue and outreach goals.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in preparing quotations, proposals, and sales contracts.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business insight
  • The ability to drive strategic growth and maximise opportunities.
