About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Joinery Installer to join our growing team. You'll be hands-on, installing and finishing kitchens, bathrooms, and for apartments, duplexes, and retail/clinic fit-outs.

Full time,38 Hours Per week

Work location:Unit2/11 Powdrill Road, Prestons NSW 2170

What You'll Do

  • Read plans and set out joinery for install.
  • Study drawings/specifications to determine materials, dimensions, clearances andinstallation sequence; prepare site layouts and cutting lists.
  • Work with Polytec/Laminex/Trademaster boards and Blum/Hettich/DTC fittings.
  • Cut, shape and assemble parts; nail/screw/adhere components; fit cabinets, frames, fascias, skirtings and claddings; verify level, plumb and square.
  • Assemble, fit, and finish cabinets, bulkhead, skirtings.
  • Install benchtops and vanities, coordinating cut-outs with stonemasons, electricians
  • Carry out make-good and refurbishment works as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Cert III in Carpentry/Joinery (or equivalent) + 2 years' experience.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
  • Familiar with Australian Building Codes and WHS standards.
  • Current and valid Driver's Licence (essential for site travel).
  • Confident in using a wide range of joinery tools (hand tools, power tools, cutting and assembly equipment).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
