Your new role
As Finance Manager, you will lead the finance function across multiple entities. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and managing budgets, with monthly variance analysis
- Liaising with external stakeholders including ATO, SRO, auditors, banks, and insurers
- Auditing and ensuring data integrity for monthly and annual financial statements
- Managing intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Analysing cash flow and delivering weekly forecasts
- Overseeing supplier and employee payments in line with cash flow
- Managing customer debt collection in accordance with company terms
- Monitoring margins and preparing reports
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Conducting forward financial analysis to support sales targets and cash flow predictions
- Handling foreign currency transactions (bank accounts, debtors, creditors)
- Developing and implementing financial and staff policies and procedures
- Preparing and distributing monthly KPI reports
- Providing financial analysis and insights to management
- Overseeing payroll (weekly and monthly) and related tasks
- Maintaining integrity in financial systems (Ostendo, MYOB), including cost centre setup and posting structures
- Driving automation and system improvements
- Managing administrative tasks including insurance and government reporting
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in a senior finance position, ideally within a complex, multi-entity environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in financial systems such as Ostendo and MYOB
- A commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
