An exciting opportunity exists for a Delivery Specialist at RAS Trade Pty Ltd in Melbourne, Victoria.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering goods to designated locations in a safe, timely manner
  • Loading and unloading deliveries, mostly manually and sometimes using forklifts
  • Picking and packing customer orders
  • Determining the most efficient delivery routes, adhering to schedules
  • Inspecting and maintaining the delivery vehicle, reporting issues and keeping it clean
  • Providing excellent customer service, addressing any issues and obtaining proof of delivery
  • Adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations
  • Supporting the broader team and completing other duties where required

Requirements

  • Valid MR (Medium Rigid) license with a clear driving history (mandatory)
  • Forklift license (desirable but not essential)
  • Delivery truck driving experience
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 20kg) and work in various weather conditions
  • Good communication and patience handling customer interactions
  • Strong sense of direction and knowledge of local routes
