Sydney, New South Wales, Australia CleanPeak Energy Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

About Us

CleanPeak Energy is an Australian-owned renewable energy company that is driving the clean energy transition. We build, own and operate a portfolio of large-scale solar, battery and thermal energy infrastructure – providing smart, reliable and cost-effective energy to our customers. We also manage over 50 individual embedded networks, providing electricity services to over 8,000 customers.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Coordinator – Embedded Networks to join our team and drive the conversion of existing tenants to our embedded networks across a number of sites.

The Embedded Network sector is experiencing tremendous growth, offering exciting opportunities for sales and marketing professionals looking to advance their careers in the energy market. If you have strong communication skills, B2B sales experience, and a solid understanding of the retail electricity market, we'd love to hear from you

The Role

You will be responsible for the front-line coordination and execution of our embedded network customer conversion strategy. This role involves liaising with existing tenants in newly created embedded network buildings and multi-building precincts, regarding billing and electricity rates to drive customer conversion. The Sales Coordinator will ensure smooth communication among all stakeholders and assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the customer conversion process, in accordance with regulatory compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tenant & Stakeholder Liaison – Communicate with building managers, property owners, and tenants regarding billing and electricity rates.
  • Sales and Marketing – Develop, plan and execute marketing and communication campaigns to convert brownfield embedded network sites.  Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate efforts to capture customer consents.
  • Customer Account Management – Set up and manage electricity accounts, manage inquiries, assist with meter connections and alterations of connections.
  • Conversion Coordination – Liaise with relevant parties to coordinate the network meter conversion as part of an embedded network project.
  • Documentation & Reporting – Maintain detailed project documentation, including conversion plans, schedules, and status reports. Ensure that stakeholders are regularly updated with progress reports and identify any potential issues.
  • Stakeholder Communication – Effectively communicate complex value propositions to people with varying understandings of the energy industry. Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication regarding project status, milestones, and any issues that may arise.
  • Issue Tracking & Resolution – Help identify potential issues during the conversion process and escalate them to the Embedded Network Manager. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational or technical problems that may hinder the project.
  • Compliance & Standards – Ensure that all network conversion activities are carried out in compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and best practices.

Your Background

This role suits someone who is results-driven and thrives on providing excellent customer service, developing solutions and capitalizing on opportunities in a constantly changing environment.

You will bring the following:

  • Proven track record in B2B marketing/sales, preferably within the energy or utilities sector
  • Solid understanding of the embedded network electricity market and regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including tenants and property managers
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and closing sales opportunities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and leverage data to inform sales strategies
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Strong time & task management to meet customer deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, able to shift priorities and deal with unexpected challenges.
  • Positive team player who works collaboratively
  • Tertiary qualifications in business desirable but not essential.
