About the role

We're currently looking for a Casual Dockmaster & Forklift Operator to work in our conveniently located Pier 35 Marina in Port Melbourne and Victoria Harbour Marina in Docklands. You will become a valued member of our team whose core focus is to ensure our customers experience a premium service here at our marinas.

This role offers variety and includes:

  • Servicing our boat members
  • Forklift operation
  • Assisting boats into and out of the water
  • Facility and grounds maintenance including cleaning
  • Assisting onsite marine related tenants with their requirements
  • Fuel sales

To be successful in this role it is necessary to have:

  • Able to work weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Marine Experience
  • Customer Experience
  • Good understanding of WHS policies and procedures
  • Appropriate fitness and ability to concentrate while operating heavy machinery

To be successful in this role it is preferred you have:

  • Forklift Licence & Experience
  • A passion or interest in the marine industry
  • Patience without distraction
  • Reliable transport
