About the role

We are looking for a skilled, diligent and responsible Forklift Operator to join our growing manufacturing team in an internal factory transport role.

Working 38 hours per week on permanent afternoon shift (2.00pm pm) Monday to Friday, the key responsibilities are:

  • Safely operating a forklift
  • Delivering stock and work in progress (WIP) to the production lines
  • Working collaboratively with the production afternoon shift teams
  • Unloading containers, as needed
  • Regular stock take on raw materials and WIP
  • Recording and organising scrap and waste removal
  • Adhering to safety, housekeeping and teamwork behaviours as a priority
  • Sorting and staging freight for dispatch
  • General warehouse and yard duties

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current and valid Australian high-risk work (forklift) licence and drivers licence
  • A commitment to safety and quality
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and WHS requirements at all time
  • A customer service focus and reliable work ethic
