Bar Manager – Sydney, Walsh Bay Precinct

Full-time | Level 5

We're on the lookout for an experienced Bar Manager to take the lead at an exciting new bar opening soon in Sydney's Walsh Bay precinct. This hands-on role calls for someone with a passion for drinks, people, and creating unforgettable guest experiences.

What you'll do

  • Lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive and inclusive culture

  • Shape and oversee the beverage programme – wine, cocktails, and pairings

  • Manage financial performance, stock control, and reporting

  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences with a focus on detail

  • Handle recruitment, rostering, training, and ongoing staff development

  • Maintain venue standards, cellar management, and compliance with WHS

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience managing a premium bar or hospitality venue

  • Strong knowledge of wine, cocktails, and food pairings

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • Confidence with financial management and reporting

  • A hands-on approach with a passion for service
