Your new company

Our client is the largest 100% Australian-owned manufacturer of transit concrete mixers and mining agitators which have been operating for the past 50 years. Known for their precision engineering and durability and who provide trusted products to the construction & mining industry. They are now looking to expand their Banyo team for new welders and boilermakers looking for their next opportunity.

Your new role

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and understand specifications
  • Cut, shape and weld metal parts – MIG/TIG and the use of plasma cutters and grinders
  • Assemble structural components for transit mixers with precision and durability
  • Inspect finished products and ensure they meet industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams
  • Follow safety protocols and wear correct PPE in workshop environments.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Trade qualification in fabrication or welding (preferred but not essential)
  • Previous experience in metal fabrication, preferably in heavy industrial or automotive sectors
  • A commitment to quality and safety
  • Proven experience of MIG & TIG welding
